This picture of Astrid was taken last week at our therapy pet visit to the Alzheimer's Centers. Therapy pets isn't just about dogs. Any well behaved pet can have a beneficial influence on those confined to hospitals, Alzheimer's centers, living centers, schools....the possibilities are endless. Astrid's bandana is from our online Etsy bandana boutique, Astrid Nicole Etcetera. 100% of all net sales benefits the Santa Cruz Humane Society in Nogales, AZ. Astrid made her home at this shelter until joining us in her 'forever home' on December 28, 2006.
